Private Development Enterprises is a group of companies aimed at providing a one stop shop for clients who wish to conduct a full-scale test on the viability of large infrastructure projects. The group was formed in 2016 by experienced engineering professionals with the vision of creating a combined skills platform for the delivery of the project services mentioned and caters to international and local clients in both the public and private sectors. Two group entities have been established with a third ‘supplementary service’
leg to be incorporated in the very near future. PD Hub is the group entity where the
project development work is conducted. All professional resources are arranged and
managed through this entity. PD Invest is used merely to hold the group’s investment
interest in the developments. It will also be used later for Development Finance purposes.
Projects often require careful selection and verification ability (due diligence) to
safeguard investment and competing financial resources. When the selection process
succeeds, projects often need assessment for feasibility to direct the business planning
exercise, hence capital raising for the venture in question. After the commercial aspects of infrastructure investment are successfully tested, it is normal to seek services of qualified and experienced engineering and related skills to design such infrastructure. Further, construction management is crucial to safeguard design standards, and preserve
integrity of materials and products used in realising such infrastructure.

Nomonde Patience Keswa
Nomonde is an internationally accredited mediator. She specialises in mediating workplace, contractual, community and family disputes. Nomonde is the member of the panel of mediators for the World Bank Group in the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes. She is also a member of the Training Faculty of the Conflict Dynamics, a well-known company with 30 years' experience in South Africa and internationally which partners with those wanting to manage conflict effectively. Nomonde is also a Director at Conflict Dynamics, as well as a member of the Training Academy of the Legislative Sector of South Africa having worked as a senior executive at the Parliament of the Republic of South Africa for fourteen years.
Mziwandile Eric Tshwele
Eric is an electric power engineer by profession. He worked extensively in electrical product manufacturing and utility-based businesses in his earlier years. After completing his MSc Engineering qualification, he moved into industry and research, specialising in electrical machines and machine control systems. He later formed a consultancy practice with a few of his utility colleagues and has since ventured into various economic sector consultancy work. He obtained a post graduate qualification in Finance and Accounting before establishing PD Enterprises. He is currently the managing principal in the business

Our Approach
As a group we are proactive in identifying economically viable projects in the following key sectors:
- Energy (Including renewables and Oil & Gas)
- Food Production (Including primary agriculture, aquaculture & agro-processing)
- Buildings & Housing (Including low cost residential, factories and industry works)
When such projects are identified, we organize (at risk) all initial financial and human resources and start the development process. We later identify suitable partners of like interest and dilute our exposure in the development as such. We maintain the resource management responsibility until the projects are complete and operated. In some cases, other parties will introduce us to projects they already have. In most of these cases we will act as a ‘One-Stop’ technical and commercial management facility and create the necessary project designs and construction programs as such.
